To help answer that question, the Stanford Institute for Advancing Just Societies is launching the Flourishing Cities Initiative: Practical Solutions for a World on the Move.

A recent UCLA-Stanford survey found that 77% of teacher preparation programs offer training relevant to ethnic studies instruction, but might be insufficient to meet a new 2030 state graduation requirement 

IAJS is sponsoring two 2025-26 Stanford Impact Labs design fellows, Alyce Adams and Grant Parker. Parker's work will take him to South Africa.
